RV-10 Interior Panels

The following renderings and photos are what the RV-10 Front Seat Interior Panels will look like. These panels are made out of Kydex. Kydex is a FAA approved material and meets FAR 25.853. Options that will be available are document pockets and a drink holder. The drink holder is underneath and near the front seat and won't interfere with leg movement. It won't hold a "Big Gulp", but will hold a normal can or bottle.

The rear panels feature an automotive style air vent that fits over the standard rear air vent door. The vent also makes it difficult for large insects to enter the cockpit.

The RV-10 Interior Panels will be shipped with no finish. The color of the Kydex may vary. The following renderings show the panels in a finished state. The panels can be painted or covered with leather and/or fabric. Specific mounting hardware, such as screws, screw head covers, nutplates, etc aren't included since they may vary from on installation to another.

The following photo's are shots from Geoff Combs' RV-10 N829GW. We'll be adding more photos as more panels get installed. Geoff has painted his panels a tan color. He has also added some leather covered inserts which are not included in the standard panel kits.

The rear sear panel installed in N829GW. The panel and the air vent has been painted to a matching interior color. Additionally, a leather insert has been installed to complement the leather seating. This is an optional feature that can be easily done by the builder.

Interior Panels are available for purchase in the following combinations. International, Hawaii, and Alaska based customers will receive an additional invoice via Paypal to cover the incremental fees for shipping.

RV10012 - Full Set of Panels w/ rear air vents - $995.00

This includes front panel, rear panel, and rear air vent sets.

RV10013 - Full Set of Panels (no rear air vents) - $850.00

This includes front and rear panel sets.

RV10014 - Front Panel Set - $500.00

This includes right and left front panels. Also included is the larger forward map pocket webbing (Black). The smaller aft accessory area is left open. A cup holder and/or pocket webing can be purchased as options.

RV10015 - Rear Panel Set - $495.00

This include right and left rear panels, as well as a small panel that covers the longeron over the baggage door. The rear vent holes are marked on the back on the panel and have to be cut out if you order the air vent option. There are no visible markings on the front of the panels if you choose not to install air vents.

RV10016 - Cup Holder for front panel - $20.00 each

You will need two of these if you want them on both sides. Only available in black. The Cup Holder and Small Pocket Webbing are mounted in the same location. You can order the Cup Holder or the Small Pocket Webbing, but not both.

RV10018 - Rear Air Vents - $150 Pair

This includes the vent that fits over the standard Van's vent, a vent cover grill, and an aluminum tab that will allow passengers to open and close the vent. The set is sold as a pair. The vents are pre-primed (gray) and are ready for painting your preferred color.
